I agree with Phil. He just got unlucky and lost. I’m a big Tom Dwan hand but tom should’ve lost that hand. What was he thinking going all in with 2 tens? if Phil had any over card, tom would’ve lost easily! Phil played that hand perfectly but i guess luck wasn’t on his side

@FreshZerglings I’m afraid I can’t agree. Pocket 10’s heads up is a massive hand – only 4 hands can beat it, what are the odds that phil had one of those hands? and as it turned out he’d only have lost to pocket spades, pocket kings, J,8 or 6,8, not any over card. yeah it’s a big suckout but that’s poker!

still not 5 years last time i looked he lost 4 mil to isildur in a massive tilt situation. Then lost another 3 million this year after winning about 3 or 4. Hes so volatile with his money i think phils right he wont be around in 5 years. Hellmuth done this for years and guys like dwan are nothing new being over aggressive playing to many hands is just negative ev in the long run.

LOL @ 150/300 Blinds and he won’t get more than $3k in preflop with TT. So basically he’s saying Dwan should reraise to 4k every single hand and he will win 98% of HU matches. It is a standard play.

It’s amazing how Phil doesn’t understand the game of poker. The internet players all know it takes at least 50,000 hands to take the luck out of it. If Phil understood this BASIC poker concept, he’d probably cry a lot less.
