if the suits are all different it split but someone may have a straight flush

Assuming no flush, both players have identical straights, so it’s a split pot.

There is no such thing as a 6th card tie breaker unless you’re playing with some special house rules.

well im assuming both of you guys used the 10 to make a flush so the one with the other higher card wins. so the 10 -5 won.

It is a split pot as the best hands of both the players are same.

Jack high straight.
So the pot will be divided into two and will be shared by the players.
